MINERAL POINT – Iowa County 4-H welcomed youth, families, and volunteers on Saturday,
March 21st for its annual Exploration Day, held this year at Mineral Point High School. The event offered hands-on learning experiences designed to introduce young people to the wide range of projects and opportunities available through 4-H.
Throughout the day, attendees participated in interactive sessions spanning arts, STEM, animal sciences, leadership, outdoor skills, and more. Exploration Day provides youth with an engaging environment to discover new interests, build confidence, and connect with mentors.
This year’s highlights included: Hands-on project workshops led by trained volunteers STEM and creativity activities designed to spark imagination Animal and agriculture learning opportunities for all experience levels Club and project leader meet-and-greet spaces to help families explore 4-H pathways
The event also celebrated the efforts of volunteers, youth leaders, and community partners whose support helps sustain 4-H programming throughout Iowa County. Exploration Day reflects the heart of 4-H, youth finding their spark and building confidence as they grow.
