Kuberski takes second at Oratorical Finals

On Saturday March 28 the Department of Wisconsin held its American Legion Oratorical Scholarship Contest. Grant Kuberski who was representing Argyle Post 251 had won the Lafayette County Contest and the 3rd District Contest to move onto the State Competition. At the State level Grant had to compete in a Regional contest against three other students. Grant won the Regional contest and he received a $1,000 Scholarship. Grant then had to compete against two other students in the Finals. Grant did an outstanding job and represented Argyle Post 251 and the 3rd District well. In the end, Grant came in second place and will be the alternate for Wisconsin at Nationals. For making the finals and coming in second place Grant was awarded an additional $1,500 in Scholarship Funds.

Congratulations to Grant for doing such an outstanding job representing Argyle Post 251, Lafayette County and the 3rd District American Legion.
