The Argyle Library Board and Friends of the Argyle Public Library are hosting their second Open House for the new Argyle Community Center on Saturday, April 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the former First National Bank and Trust building. Highlights will include the unveiling of a proposed floor plan and a “Cash and Carry Sale” offering excess furnishings and materials for purchase. They will also be kicking-off the Community Center’s capital campaign.
During the first Open House, members of the community toured the building and shared valuable ideas and feedback. That input guided the creation of the proposed floor plan to be revealed. The Friends and the Library Board express their gratitude for the community’s ongoing interest and collaboration in shaping a space that will serve the entire Argyle community. As with the first Open House, refreshments will be served. Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for this event and follow the Friend’s social media for updates and additional details.
