Shullsburg/Benton scores late to tip Warbirds

The Argyle/Black Hawk Warbirds stayed in the game before Shullsburg/Benton had a five run seventh, winning the Six Rivers game 11-1 Friday.

A single by Trent Dunlavey put the Warbirds on the board in the top of the first.

Mitchell Johnsen took the ball first for the Warbirds. He gave up seven hits and nine runs (five earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out nine and walking four.

Jackson Berget came on in relief. He gave up two runs (one earned) on one hit and three walks.

Trent Dunlavey led Argyle/Black Hawk with one rbi. The first baseman went 1-for-2 on the day.
