Ridge survives ABH late rally

River Ridge pitcher Erin Adrian only allowed Argyle/Black Hawk three hits in their Six Rivers softball game Friday but the seven errors the Timberwolves had made the game close.

Adrian was touched for five runs with only two earned as the Timberwolves held on to win 6-5. She struck out six and walked four.

Sam Kammes, Adrionna Ubersox and Brynn Harris got the hits for ABH.

Harris went the distance in the circle. She gave up eight hits, six runs (five earned) while walking four an striking out four.

ABH made it interesting with a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh t opull within one. Ubersox singled for one run and another scored on a ground out by Lexi Wonders but the game ended on a fly out with runners on second and third.
