Two runs in third hold up for Argyle/Black Hawk win

Argyle/Black Hawk sent in a pair of runs in the top of the third and then held off Juda/Albany for a 2-1 win in a Six Rivers softball game Tuesday.

Brianna Wilhelmson singled and scored when a bunt by Sam Kammes was misplayed. Kammes gave way to courtesy runner Jerzey Wiegel who then scored when Adrionna Ubersox singled.

The rest of the win depended on the pitching slants from Brynn Harris who responded with a one hitter with an unearned run, one walk and six strikeouts.

Juda/Albany answered with a run in the bottom of the third but that was all they could manage to put on the scoreboard.
