Kylie Butler’s two run home run in the first inning ignited the Argyle/Black Hawk softball team to take a 4-1 win in their Regional semifinal win over host Wauzeka-Steuben Tuesday.
Alexis Tregembo stroked a single that scored a run in the same frame as ABH took a 3-0 lead in the first.
ABH added a run in the second when Jerzey Wiegel scored on an outfield error after a single by Claire Holmes. ABH had seven hits in the game. Holmes was 3×4, Brianna Wilhelmson 2×4 with Butler and Tregembo each getting one.
Brynn Harris went the distance for the win. She struck out seven, walked five and gave up an unearned run in the fifth. She spaced four hits.
ABH advances to face the Braves at Belmont today.
