There has been a lot of discussion about the future of the Lafayette Manor and the former hospital building. If you have been following that information, your opportunity to learn about the facts first hand will be happening on Tuesday, August 11 at 5:30 p.m. at the Lafayette County Multipurpose Building, 11974 Ames Road, Darlington.

During the informational open house, you will learn about the current condition of the Lafayette Manor and the former Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County building, review findings from previous studies and assessments and see potential paths forward. This first meeting is information only. There will be no debate or question and answer session. The goal is to provide clear, factual information to help everyone leave with a better understanding of the options being considered. No decisions have been made or will be made at this meeting.
There will be a second open house scheduled on Monday, August 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the Multipurpose Building. This second meeting will be to gather public input and feedback after everyone has had the opportunity to review the information.
