Earlier in the day Argyle/Black Hawk shortstop Kylie Butler signed a Division 1 letter of intent to play basketball at UW-Milwaukee.
Then she went out and pounded out two hits in three trips for her softball team.
But it wasn’t enough. New Glarus/Monticello shut out ABH to win the Six Rivers contest 4-0.
Argyle/Black had five hits to NGM’s four but they could not find a way to score.
Brianna Wihlemson, Claire Holmes and Alexis Tregemgo had the rest of the hits.
Brynne Harris took the loss for ABH. The righty went six innings, surrendering four runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out two and walking four.
