Albany pulls away to trip the Warbirds

The Argyle/Black Hawk Warbirds saw Albany pull away as the game went on in an 11-4 loss in a Six Rivers East baseball game Friday.

A sacrifice fly by Braydn Bakker put Albany on the board in the top of the first.

Cole Dunlavey walked, which helped Argyle/Black Hawk tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

Albany captured the lead, 3-1, in the top of the second and extended their lead in the third.

Mitchell Johnsen pitched four innings in relief for Argyle/Black Hawk. He gave up five hits and five runs (three earned) while, striking out three and walking two.

Jackson Berget took the mound first for the Warbirds. The hurler surrendered four hits and six runs (four earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking two.

Johnsen and Ole Isely each collected two hits for the Warbirds. Isely had an rbi.

Trent and Braylon Bidlingmeier both had a hit for the Warbirds with Braylon’s a double.
