The Argyle Legion Auxiliary Unit 251 sponsored a Poppy Poster contest with Argyle’s Fourth Grade class, which is taught by Mrs.Mia Zuberbuhler. The Argyle Legion Post 251 judged the posters at their April meeting. The top three winners of the contest were:
1. E.E., child of Kurt and Natalie Easterday
2. Elsie Erickson; daughter of Lucas and Kayla Erickson
3. Hadleigh Newman; daughter of Brittney Newman and Brett Newman
The purpose of the Poppy Program is to educate ALA membership and the public on the significance of the poppy and the program’s financial benefit for veterans, military, and their families.
