The Argyle National Honor Society will be hosting a Food Drive from April 7 – April 17 to support the Argyle Food Pantry.
Our local food pantry currently serves up to 17 households (approximately 60 individuals) each month. As we approach the summer months, these donations become especially important for families with increased food needs.
How to donate
Send items to school with your student or drop off donations in the school office. We will ensure all items are delivered to the pantry.
Most needed items
The pantry is in need of many items but the most needed items are: non-perishable foods – mac and cheese, pasta, pasta sauce, parmesan cheese, Hamburger Helper, instant potatoes, rice sides, canned fruits and vegetables, baked beans, applesauce, soup, canned meals (ravioli, SpaghettiOs), pancake mix, syrup, cereal, peanut butter, jelly, granola bars, crackers, cake/brownie mix, frosting; personal care items – shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, body wash, toothpaste, mouthwash, lotion, deodorant, shaving cream, feminine hygiene products; laundry and paper products – laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, household cleaning supplies.
Remember: we cannot accept expired items. Please check expiration dates before donating. To count towards a specific class, include a note with your donation. Top donation winners will receive: Elementary – extra recess; Middle- High – pizza party.
Walmart Wishlist
Items can be purchased through our Walmart Wishlist – simply scan the QR Code. Please note, Walmart requires a $35 minimum for free shipping or delivery.
