Both teams score early but Eagles score more

Mason Durst earned the win for Barneveld He surrendered one hit and no runs over two and one-third innings, striking out six and walking none.

Reid Schlimgen took the loss for Pecatonica. He worked one-third of an inning, allowing four runs on no hits, striking out none and walking two.

Hunter Larson started the game for Barneveld. He gave up four hits and two runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking two.

Leuzinger led the Golden Eagles with one run batted in. Durst led Barneveld with two hits in three at bats.

Kadyn Schlimgen also had a hit for the Eagles.

Cooper Schraepfer led Pecatonica with two runs batted in. The catcher went 2-for-3 on the day.

Ashton McNett, Reid Schlimgen and Reed Cassidy all had hits for the Vikings.
