Bullets take control to topple Knights

Sixteen hits and five walks translated into 16 runs for the Bullets Friday as they cruised past the Knights in a Western Section game.

Drew Schliem did the damage with a three run double in the first. Peter Gustafson also singled in a run in the frame for a 4-0 lead.

Kyle Kleppe helped put the game out of reach with a three run home run in the fifth that upped the score to 13-1.

Winning pitcher Hunter Enloe and Tyler McKeon both had doubles and rbis. Mckeon went 2×3.

Drew Nafzger was 3×5 with two rbis for the Bullets. Gustafson was 2×4 with an rbi. Dakota Doescher was 3×5 with an rbi and Cole Breuer went 2×4.

Enloe earned the win with five strong innings. He had relief help from Mckeon and Doescher.

Jack Graber, Ty Palzkill, Bryce Crubaugh-Lockard and Dom Mc Vay all pitched for the Knights.

Grant Roh had two of the Knights hits in three trips with an rbi. Crubaugh-Lockard and Carson Opgenorth had a hit and an rbi. Gianni Filardo had the fifth Knights hit.
