Bullets take down Rockies 11-2 with four rbis by Schliem

Drew Schliem had quite a night for the Bullets, leading them to an 11-2 win over the Rockies in a Western Section contest Friday.

Schliem drove in four runs on two hits to lead Blanchardville past Hollandale. He singled iin a pair of runs in both the sixth and seventh innings.

Hunter Enloe did the job on the mound for the Bullets. He struck out 11 while surrendering three hits and two runs over seven innings of work. Dakota Doescher came on to finish two shutout innings.

The Bullets scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the seventh. Schliem singled, scoring two runs, The rest of the runs came on a Cole Breuer single, an error and Tyler Mckeon’s sacrifice fly. Tanler Ames took the loss for the Rockies. Ames went five and twothirds innings, surrendering five runs on six hits, striking out 10 and walking two. Hunter Larson and Karsen Leuzinger finished the game for the Rockies.

The Bullets totaled 11 hits in the game. Breuer and Drew Nafzger had three hits, Schliem two with the rest coming from Gavyn Loomis, Brooks Chandler and Mckeon.

The Rockies had three hits, all singles, from Casey Helgeson, Mason Durst, and Jared Rear. Rear had the first hit for the Rockies. Helgeson and Durst each drove a run with their safeties.
