The August 11th primary election is fast approaching and District 17 voters will soon have a chance to hear from the Democrats vying for a state Senate nomination. Candidates Corrine Hendrickson, Jenna Jacobson and Lisa White will share their perspectives and answer your questions at a public forum on Wednesday, June 10 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the New Glarus High School
Auditorium. The forum is hosted by the Alpine Reading Club of New Glarus and will be moderated by Sam Rikkers.
The forum will feature questions from the moderator and the audience. After the forum, there will be an opportunity for attendees to mingle with the candidates, who each are hoping to earn your vote in the August primary. The primary winner will attempt to unseat incumbent Republican state Senator Howard Marklein in November.
