Barneveld outlasted Argyle/Black Hawk 6-1 in Six Rivers East softball action Tuesday.
ABH scored its lone run in the first when Sam Kammes and Kylie Butler had back to back doubles. Butler drove in courtesy runner Jerzey Wiegel.
The Golden Eagles took the lead in the bottom of the first. Hannah Esch had a two run homer to center field to give Barneveld a 2-1 lead.
Izzy Pohlman hit a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the second for the Eagles.
Lauren Reese earned the win for Barneveld. She allowed seven hits and one run over seven innings, striking out nine and walking none.
Brynne Harris took the loss for ABH. She went six innings, giving up six runs on 10 hits, striking out two and walking four.
The Eagles collected 10 hits in the game. Esch drove in three runs. Leadoff hitter Eliza Gordon led Barneveld with three hits in four at bats. Aleea Norton collected two hits in three at bats.
Alexis Tregembo, The ABH number seven hitter, led the team with two hits in three at-bats. Butler led ABH with one run batted in. The number three hitter went 1-for-3 on the day.
Addison Walker, Reese and Reagan Knight also had hits for the Eagles.
Adrionna Ubersox, Brinley Meinert and Brianna Wilhelmson also had hits for ABH.
