Sophomore Mason Durst drove in enough runs to beat Argyle/Black Hawk with five but his Barneveld teammates were not done.
The Golden Eagles went on to beat the Warbirds 21-4 in a Six Rivers game Tuesday.
Durst had a grand slam in his total. The Eagles had six doubles in their attack. Hunter Larson and Mason Haesler both had a pair while Aden Knight and Karsen Leuzinger each had one.
Larson and Knight both went 3×3 while Knight and Haesler both had two hits.
Liam Genrich, Ty Thousand and Landon Beicher also had hits for the Eagles.
Durst, Genrich and Larson all saw mound work for the Eagles and combined to strike out 12.
Cole Dunlavey and Braylon Bidlingmaier had the lone Warbirds hits.
Ole Isley, Trent Bidlingmaier and Chandler Johnson all pitched.
The Eagles also had 10 walks to work with in fashioning their run total.
