JAMESON JOHNSON, a former Pecatonica High School athlete, had his season on the Rock Valley College (Ill) baseball team come to an end last week.
Johsnon, a 6-foot 2-inch sophomore UTL, and the Golden Eagles dropped its two games in the Region 4 tournament, 11-4 to Kankakee Community College (Ill) and 4-3 to Bryant & Stratton College.
Jameson batted a collective .286 (2-for-7) while drawing a walk in each contest.
RVC finishes the year with a 36-18 record.
