A year and a half earlier, June 22, 2024, a tornado landed a direct hit on the Apple Grove Lutheran Church, leveling the worship structure that had been there for more than 140 years.

But a new day has dawned and the church broke ground on Saturday, March 8. The rebuilding of Apple Grove will begin in earnest in the very near future. A worship service will be held in April or May and everyone is invited to the celebrate the rebuilding on this holy landmark.

The congregation wants to thank everyone for all the support that has been given to the parish during this time.
