A deputy assisted Iowa County Sheriff’s Office with a one vehicle accident on STH 78, Blanchardville in Iowa County.
April 24 1:42 p.m.
A deputy, Blanchardville Fire and Blanchardville EMS responded to Water Street in the Village for a one vehicle accident. Marcos O. Moreno- Rayo, 20, Blanchardville was operating his 2016 Jeep when he left the roadway, entered the ditch, went over the embankment of the bridge where he came to a rest. Moreno- Rayo reported no injuries. He was arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked for Operating Without a Valid Driver’s License- 2nd Offense and later released on bond. Moreno- Rayo’s 2016 Jeep received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
