Monticello/New Glarus did all their damage in the third and fouth innings and edged Argyle/Black Hawk 5-3 in Six Rivers East softball action Friday.
M/NG scored three runs in the third and added two in the fourth for the win.
ABH put up a run in the first then Kylie Butler singed for an rbi. Butler was 2×2 on the afternoon.
Brynne Harris went the distance on the slab for ABH. She surrendered 10 hits and five runs (three earned) over seven innings, striking out nine and walking five.
Claire Holmes drove in two runs for ABH with a 1-for-3 day at the plate. Sam Kammes, Brianna Wilhelmson, and Butler each collected two hits for ABH.
Alexis Tregembo and Adrionna Ubersox also had hits for ABH.
