Ruth Ann Flanagan, aged 85, of Argyle, WI passed away peacefully on June
23, 2026. She was born on July 5, 1940, in Darlington, Wisconsin, the
cherished daughter of Charles Vivian Ranum and Vera Lulu Willis Ranum.
On October 27, 1972, she married her Irishman, John Flanagan, beginning
a lifelong partnership blessed with enduring affection. They farmed in
rural Argyle for many years together.
She is lovingly survived by her children: Bob (Deb) Golackson of
Kentucky, Cheryl Golackson of Brodhead, WI, Tom (LouAnn) Golackson of
Argyle, Don (Amy) Golackson of Monroe, WI, Mike (Lisa) Flanagan of
Woodford, WI, Mark (Wendy) Flanagan of rural Argyle, Shelly (Lentz) Wolf
of Monroe. Ruth is also survived by many grandchildren, siblings, family
and friends, who held a special place in her heart.
Per Ruth’s wishes no formal services will be held. The Erickson Funeral
