Pecatonica tried to close the gap on Southwestern but had their tournament trail ended by the Wildcats Friday, 6-2.

Jenna Kurschner took the loss for Pecatonica. She went six innings, allowed six runs on 10 hits, struck out
five and walked two. Chloe Bocklund turned in one inning. She surrendered two hits and walked one.
The Wildcats had 12 hits in the game. They scored enough to win when three runs crossed the plate in the first. The Wildcats added a run in the fourth and two more in the sixth for their total.
Leaha Doescher and Brooklynn Johnsrud each drove in a run for the Vikings as they scored solo runs in the first and second .. Gretta Schraepfer went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double to lead the hitting. Brooklyn Johnsrud, Katelynne Jorenby, Kiaya York, Brooklyn Muench and Cayla Doescher all had one hit.
