At the Lafayette Hospital + Clinics (LHC) one-year anniversary celebration on April 15, staff, Foundation members, and community supporters came together to unveil the new home of our cherished “Tree of Remembrance.” This meaningful piece, which stood for many years at the entrance of MHLC, has been carefully relocated to LHC, where it continues to offer a place for reflection, remembrance, and tribute.
“As we look to the future, we are proud to carry forward the Tree of Remembrance legacy,” shared Lance Lansing, Foundation President, “the LHC Foundation will continue the tradition of offering commemorative leaves or decorative stones in honor or memory of loved ones, ensuring its significance grows for generations to come.” Those wishing to add their name or honor a loved one on the Tree of Remembrance are encouraged to stop by LHC or contact Tammie Jamiska, Foundation Director, at tammie.jamiska@lafayettehospital.org for more information.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dick Anderson and Don Arnsmeier for their original creation 30 years ago, and to Dick Allendorf for his time, talent, and craftsmanship in bringing its new setting to life,” said Marie Wamsley, CEO.
We warmly invite you to visit the vestibule and experience the Tree of Remembrance in its beautiful new home. The Lafayette Hospital + Clinics Foundation has been serving this community since 1983.
