Warbirds no match for Belmont

Once Belmont started scoring they could not turn it off and the Braves downed Argyle/Black Hawk 34-0 Monday in a Six Rivers game.

Only Brylon Bidlingmeier was able to record a hit for the Warbirds.

Belmont got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Thomas Freeman drew a walk, scoring one run, Chase Riecers singled, scoring one run, Bradley Lancaster grounded out, scoring one run, Boone Havens singled, scoring one run, Ian Austin doubled, scoring three runs, an error scored two runs, and an error scored one run.

Belmont scored nine runs on four hits in the bottom of the second inning and added 13 runs on six hits in the bottom of the third inning.

Josiah Ruiz earned the win for Belmont. The pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out 11 and walking none.

Chandler Johnson took the loss for the Warbirds. The hurler went two innings, surrendering 12 runs (two earned) on five hits, striking out none and walking six.

Bidlingmaier led Argyle/Black Hawk Warbirds with one hit in two at bats.
